Donald Trump is back in the Oval Office for a second term as President of the United States. With thr𒊎ee days in office, President Trump has already caused shockwaves ac♓ross the US and the globe.
In his fi🐬rst interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Trump talked about the flurry of executive orders he issued and also took a dig at Joe Bideꦑn's last-minute pardons.
Here's a look at the key takeaways 𝓡from Trump's first interview back in the White House.
Starting off the interview with Trump's favourite Fox News, the US president stated thatཧ it was "sad" that Biden pardoned almost everyone but himself.
“This guy went aroun💙d giving eve𒁃rybody pardons, and you know, the funny thing, maybe the sad thing, is he didn't give himself a pardon. If you look at it, it all had to do with him,” Trump told Fox News.
On his last day as POTUS, Biden i🎀ssued pardons for his family members and their spouses by saying that the family had been "subjected to unrelenting attacꦜks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me — the worst kind of partisan politics."
Biden also pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, retiওred Gen. Mark Milley, members of the House commitꦫtee that investigated the January 6 attack on the Capitol and other allies who might suffer from “political revenge” by Donald Trump.
"The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that they engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of﷽ guilt for any offense,” read Biden's official statement.
"Kids watching videos far less dangerous than China making our devices"
A day before Donald Trump's inauguration, Chinese social media app TikTok was banned across ๊the United States. With the ByteDance owned platform shut down its servers on January 18.
However, as soon as Trump was sworn-in, TikTok services resumed across the US with a message stating that it was possible be🦄cause of President Trump.
Speaking to Hannity, the two-time president said - "Is it that important for China to be spying on young kids watch🐭ing crazy videos? They make your computers, and your telephones, and other things. Isn’t that a bigger threat?"
After returning to the W🀅hite House, Trump declared a national💛 emergency across the Southern border and stated that he would resolve this issue and carry out a mass deportation drive.
Trump also moved to end birthright citizenship for immig꧃rants, which is guaranteed under the 14th Amendment o🤡f the US Constitution.
Referring to Democrats and Biden's "gross miscarriage𒁏 of common sense," Trump reiterated that millions of
"aliens" have entered into the US.
"21 million people let in—a large percentage are criminals. Prisons from all over the world have been emptie🥂d into our country by Biden," said Trump.
"We have terrorists in our country by the thousands.. We’re going to take care of it🤡," he added.
In his inaugural address Donald Trump stated that from now on there will only be t🅘wo genders - male and female, and signed and executive order stating the same.
Hitting out at Democr🧜ats, Trump told Fox News that the blue party "can’t govern, and their policies are terrible. They don’t want to see a woman get pummeled by a man boxing. They don’t want a child to leave home as a boy and come back later as a girl."
Taking about the LA wildfire, Trump c🐼riticised Gavin Newsom for failing to handle the wildfires in California and said, "Gavin's got one thing he can do. He can release the w🌃ater that comes from the north."
Trump also slammed FEMA and stated he will work to resolve disaster r💎esponse.
"FEMA is getting in the way of everythin🌸g. On Friday, I’m stopping in North Carolina because those people were treated very badly, then I’m going to California," he said.
