NWS als🌸o added that “considerable disruptions to daily life,” including “dangerous or impossible driving conditions and widespread closures," are expected due to the storm.
The massive winter storm headed eastward from the Plains to the mid-Atlantic is expected to impact arouꦛnd 62 million people across states. For many states, this winter storm will bring in the "heaviest snowfall seen in over a decade".
NWS has issued storm warnings for Kansas and Missou🔴ri predicting at least eight inches of snow in the states, especially in those areas norꩵth of Interstate-70.
Train services and flighᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚts have been cancelled due to the winter storm across the US.
In the D.C. area, schools and federal offices will remain closed on Mon🍌day due to the snow. However, if conditions remain bad, the closure is likely to be extended.
