Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman 🌳has tabled the Economic Survey 2025. The survey was tabled during the Budget Session in the Parliament on Friday.

ꦰAs per this document, the GDP growth for India is pegged at 6.3 to 6.8 percent.

"The fundamentals of the domestic economy remain robust, with a strong external account, calibrated fiscal consolidation and stable private consumption. Kicking off the Budget Session 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ꧒jibed at the opposition and stated that there had been no foreign interference in India for the first time in 10 years.

💧Addressing the session, Modi said - “This is probably the first session of Parliament since 2014 in which an attempt has been made to set fire to a foreign country a day before."

ꦰOn the eve of the Union Budget 2025, the prime minister added that he is "confident" that the Budget session will "infuse new confidence, energy in attaining the goal of 'Viksit Bharat'” by 2047.

🍷During a conference following the tragic aircraft crash near Washington DC's Ronald Reagan National Airport that killed all 67 people onboard, US President Donald Trump on Thursday lashed out at the previous Biden and Obama administrations over adopting diversity policies.

♍Despite having no evidence whatsoever to back his controversial claims, Trump held the air traffic controllers, the helicopter pilots, and Democratic policies at federal agencies accountable for the mishap.

The deadly midair collision between a US Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines flight near Washington DC's Ronald Reagan National Airport killed all 67 people aboard the two aircraft, officials confirmed on Thursday.
