Before the introduction of the ONOE bill🍎 in the Lok Sabha, the BJP issued a whip mandating the presence of all MPs in the house during the session.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is working towards sending notices to 20 party MPs for skippi𒁏ng the 'One Nation, One Elec✃tion' session on Tuesday. As per reports, senior ministers such as Nitin Gadkari, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Giriraj Singh are also on the list of MPs who skipped the session.
Before the introduction of the ONOE bill in the Lok Sabha, the BJP issued a wh🤪ip mandating the presence of all MPs in the house during the session.
Following its introduction, the 🥀party will now be issuing notices to the MPs who missed the🥃 session and hold them accountable for defying party orders.
As per reports, ꦗconfirmation is needed if the absence of these 20 MPs was justified. It also remains unclear if the MPs had informed the party of their absence due to the prior engagement or other reasons.

The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024' and 'The Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024', which propose simultaneous elections for both Lok Sabha and state 🌼as🥀semblies, was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
The bills we꧙re i🌠ntroduced in Lok Sabha by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
Opposition parties and Congress have opposed the bill and stated that the bills were "an assault on federalism and the basic s🐟tructure of the Constitution".
After the introduction of the bill, Opposition members pressed for a division, marking the f▨irst use of the electronic voting system in the Parliament.
In this division, the bills received 269 votes in favour and 198 votes against. The bills will now be sent to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for f꧂urther deliberatioꦑns.
