Maharashtra: Fire Breaks Out In 5 Coaches Of Passenger Train In Ahmednagar; No Injuries Reported

The train was on its way from🌳 Ashti station in Beed district to Ahmednagar in 🧔western Maharashtra when the fire started at around 3 pm.

A fire broke out on a passenger train called a diesel-electr🍬ic multiple unit (DEMU) on Monday afternoon in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district.

The fire engulfed five carriages of the 🥂train and reportedly nobody got hurt in this incident. The train was on its way from Ashti station in Beed district to Ahmednagar in western Maharashtra when the fire started at around 3 pm.

Dr Shivraj Manaspure, who is in charge of communications for the Centr🌱al Railway, informed PTI that no passengers we🔥re injured in the fire.

They called fire tenders 𒊎from Ahmednagar to put out the flames. The officials are unsure about the cause of the fire.
