"A threatening email was received on the official website of Reserve Bank of India. The email was in Russian language, warning to blow up the bank. A case has been regi🔯stered against unknown accused in Mata Ramabai Marg (MRA Marg) police station. Investigation into the matter 𒐪is underway," said Zone 1 DCP, the Mumbai Police, as by news agency ANI.
This latest threat follows a similar incident on November 16, when the RBI’s customer care number was targeted by a🌊 bomb threat call. The caller, who claimed to be the "CEO of Lashkar-e-Taiba", allegedly sang a song before issuing the warning, according to reports.
