🍌After posting seven-wicket and two-wicket wins at Eden Gardens and Chepauk in the first and second T20Is respectively, India lost the third game by 26 runs. The middle-order's performance, finishing in particular, came under the scanner as the hosts could only muster 145 runs in response to England's 171.

But assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate did not sound too worries on the eve of the fourth match. Addressing skipper Suryakumar Yadavꦕ's poor run of scores recently, ten Doeschate said at the media conference: "Someone like Surya has set such high standards [set] by himself, and I wouldn't say consistency or predictability is a particularly high marker in T20 cricket."

✃He added: "The job we ask from these guys is to go out and score really quickly and the way the international T20 game has gone, we are allowed for a bit of consistency and a lean patch like he is going through at the moment.

💝"We always look at how guys are training, how guys are playing in the nets; he played two lovely shots the other night which made me think he's back - one on the leg side and one on the off side. I don't think it's far away.

♔"I know he is captain of the team but just in general, Gauti (Gautam Gambhir) is keen to back these guys and give them a long rope to prove themselves. He is one of the best batters in the world, let alone this Indian team. Certainly not concerned about him, he is a couple of shots away from being back on track and back in form."

The assistant coach also confirmed that Rinku Singh🌠 is fit again and available for the fourth game. The hard-hitting southpaw had missed the second and third encounters due to back spasms. "Rinku is fit. He played the first game, hurt himself and missed the next two. But I would imagine Rinku comes back in as soon as he's proper fit. He batted the other night and I think he'll be ready to go tomorrow," ten Doeschate said.
