🦄With this win, the Marina Machans now sit on 27 points from 24 matches, occupying the eighth spot in the standings.

🍸Already qualified for the playoffs, the Red Miners started strongly seeking their record 13th win of the season. A long throw-in was cleared out of the Chennaiyin box, and it landed at Rei Tachikawa's feet just outside the 18-yard box. With great composure, Tachikawa struck the ball with his right foot, sending it into the bottom right corner to give Jamshedpur a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute.

🍸The Marina Machans quickly found their equalizer with a swift counter-attack. A series of quick passes set up Farukh Choudhary, who made a well-timed run and played a lateral ball to Daniel Chima Chukwu. The striker’s shot took a deflection and nestled into the bottom left corner of the net in the 25th minute to level the score at 1-1.

🐭In hopes of ending their season on a high in front of the home crowd, Chennaiyin took the lead just before halftime. Chima Chukwu laid off a brilliant pass to Lukas Brambilla, who used his pace and skill to calmly finish into the bottom right corner, giving the Machans a 2-1 advantage at the break.

Just like their first goal, Chennaiyin FC’s third came from a clinical strike. In the 57th minute, Farukh Choudhary spotted the open spaces in Jamshedpur FC's defense. After receiving a simple pass, he picked out Irfan Yadwad with a perfectly-weighted through ball. Irfan, with a composed strike from outside the box, hammered the ball into the center of the net to put Chennaiyin FC 3-1 up.

🃏Jamshedpur FC, however, weren’t backing down. They quickly found their rhythm and pulled one back. After a slick sequence of quick passes, Rei Tachikawa squared the ball for Mohammed Sanan, who fired a powerful shot into the top right corner from the center of the box, bringing them back within a goal to make it 3-2.

𝔍As the clock ticked ninety, Jordan Gil lobbed the ball over the Jamshedpur defence for Irfan to chase. The forward brought it down with a deft touch before poking it past the goalkeeper for his fifth of the season. Chima Chukwu then made it a brace for himself by beating the Jamshedpur offside trap and scoring with ease–making it six league goals for the season.

🔯With the victory, Chennaiyin finished the ISL 2024-25 regular season with seven wins and 27 points.
