Newcastle United 1-2 Fulham: Muniz Strikes Late To Seal Comeback Win

Rodrigo Muniz came off the bench to turn in a free-kick from fellow substitute Andreas Pereira eight minutꦚes from time to give the Cottagers their first away win at Newcastle in 16 years. 

Raul Jimenez had bagged his ninth league goal of t🎐he season just after the hour mark to cancel out Jacob Murphy’s first-half opener for Eddie Howe’s side.

The hosts were left to rue missed chances as Sandro Tonali and Alexander Isak both struck the woodwork for the visitors, while substitute Joe Willock failed to connect with an Isak c♚ross from close range in the sec🐎ond half. 

Failing to find a response, Newcastle fell to their second consecutive home defeat, having💮 lost 4-𒉰1 to Bournemouth last month. 

The resultꦯ keeps Newcastle in fifth place with 41 points, and they remain level with fourth-placed Manchester City who face Arsenal on Sun🌠day, while Fulham climb to ninth with 36 points.
