Actress Helen Flanagan said that she had to apologise to her kids as she confessed she is "not 💦being the mother she wants to be."
The 33-year-old actress shar🌞ed the struggles she faces as a single mum, admitting that she would often feel "touched out" and "stressed", reports Mirror.co.uk.
She added she never feels ashamed to admit whღen she's in the wrong. Helen co-parents her children with former boyfriend and footballer Scott Sinclair after the pair separated last year.
As per M🔥irror.co.uk, Helen, who is mother to Matilda, Delilah, and Charlie, took to her Instagram stories to re-share a post from the pregnancy and motherhood app, Peanut. which said: "I'm okay with saying sorry to my kids because some days I'm not the mother that I want to be.”
She added: “Some days I'm touched out and overwhelmed. I'm far from perfect ꧟and I want my kids to kno꧋w that's okay. You can apologise and start again. We all have our moments, but we got this.”
It comes after the former ‘Coronation Street’ star seemingly took aim at ex-fiance in a cryptic post abo🍌ut "hurt" wives. She shared a quote written by self-help specialist Dr John Delony to her followers and it was presented without comment or context.
The message stated: “Husbands: When you see your wife in ♋pain or struggling, know this: She isn’t broken. She’s hurting. She doesn’t need your solutions. She doesn’t need you to tell her what she should do."
The message continued: "She needs you to ask: ‘What are one or two ways I can best love yo🌠u right now?’ She is the expert on her needs, not you. Love by listening, not telling.” Helen and Scott were never married - but had become engaged in 2018 before their romance co💃llapsed last year.
Opening up about her split, Hel🐬en previously said it wasn't meant to be and t🙈he pair will remain friends.
