According to Russian media reports, the military shot down five out of six missiles and damaged one. The falling debris, from the intercepted missiles, sparked a fire on an unspecified militౠary facility but didn’t cause any damage or casualties.
According to a CNN report, the Russi༒an defense ministry said ♛that the Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) missiles were fired at 3:25 a.m. local time (5:55 AM IST) Tuesday at a facility in Bryansk.
This news comes just two days after the Biden administration gave Kyiv the green light to use longer-range weapons against targets inside Russia. US President Joe Biden on Sunday authorised Ukraine, for the first time, to u🎃se the US-supplied long-range missiles to strike inside Russia, after extensive lꦓobbying by Ukrainian officials.
According to a report by the Associated Press, Ukraine’s General Staff said on Tuesday earlier that the Ukrainian army carried out a strike on the arsenal of the 1046th Logistics Support Center in the area of Karachev in the𝓀 Bryansk region of Russia. “The destruction of ammunition depots for the Russian occupying forces, aimed at ending Russia’s armed aggression against Uk꧙raine, will continue,” the statement said.
