Ahead of the Delhi assembly election, Congress launched its poll manifesto on Wednesday, promising to conduct a caste census and set up a ministry for Purvanchalis if it is voted to power in the capital, reported PTI.

The party announces a series of promises, including 300 units of free electricity and a monthly stipend of Rs 2,500 for women, reported PTI.

Key highlights of the poll promises include free health coverage up to Rs 25 lakh for all Delhi residents, a one-year apprenticeship with an Rs 8,500 stipend for unemployed youth, and cooking gas at Rs 500 per🍒 cylinder along with a free ration kit.

The manifesto, which has been divided into 22 focus areas, was unveiled by Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav. He was flanked by Congress communications incharge Jairam Ra🅰mesh.

Jairam Ramesh targ𓃲eted the BJP-led central government and AAP-led Delhi government over the issue of pollution 𓃲and said both of them have failed to tackle the crisis.

Delhi goes to polls on Febꦍruary 5.ജ The results will be announced on February 8.
