India's ace fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was in attendance for the Coldplay concert on Sunday, January 26. The Indian Test cricket team's vice-captain, who is currently out with a back injury, was seen having great time at the concert. (More Cricket News)

Bumrah was met with massive cheers from the crowd when Coldp🐲lay's lead singer Chris Martin called him out in the audience.

The British band served up an incredible tribute to the fa♔st bowler that included a few lines. The band jokingly stated that they did not enjoy him bowling especially against England.

"O Jasprit Bumrah, my beautiful brother. The best bowler in the whole of cricketও. We did not enjoy watching you destroy England, wicket after wicket," Coldplay sang at the concert.

The band also had Bumrah's Test jersey on the stage as a mark of respect to the pacer at his home ground in Ahmedabad. This isn't the first time Coldplay mentioned Bumrah 𝓰in their concert in India. Earlier, during their concert in Mumbai, the band played a video of the pacer running through the English batting line-up during the 2024 se𒀰ries.

In the same concert, Chris Martin jokingly admitted that he had received a legal complaint from Bumrah's lawyers u🐟sing h🧜is name during the event.

"I'm so sorry, but I have to read 🗹a letter from Jasprit Bumrah's lawyer. I have to do t✤his because, otherwise, we could be sent to prison and wouldn't be able to perform in Ahmedabad," Martin had said.

Bumrah, 31, was seen smiling and waving to the crowd as Martin sang during their concert in Ahmedabad on Sunday, January 26. The concert was live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar for all the Indian aud♍iences.
