Opener Reeza Hendricks’ maiden T20 🅘hundred, 117 off 63 balls, and Rassie van der Dussen's unbeaten 38-ball 66 were the cornerstones of the victory, as t🍰he hosts chased down a 207-run target with seven wickets to spare in 19.3 overs.

With that, South Africa ensured they won a bilateral T20I series for the first time in more than two years. The Proteas had come into the second game after winning the first T20I on the back of a David Miller masterclass and George Linde’s all-rᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚound display.

Pakistan’s 206-5 was braced by an equally brilliant unbeaten 98 off 57 by opener Saim Ayub, who was desperately unlucky not to notch his maiden T20 century. He was stranded, unable to face the last nine balls of the innings. The teams’ combined 416 runs were the most in the 14-year history of their T🍌20 matchups.
