Shah Rukh Khan was on Wednesday hospitalised reportedly due to dehydration just a day after he was seen posing for the fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after KKR's victory over SRH in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2024. (Full Coverage)

The Bollywood supꦏerstar w♈as soon discharged after receiving primary treatment at the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Khan had arrived in the city ahead of his team's KKR's match against SRH and was 🥃staying there.

“Actor Shah Rukh Khan was a♐dmitted to K D Hospital after suffering from a heat stroke," Ahmedabad (Rural) Supe♏rintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said.

Securiꦐty has💧 been tightened around the hospital, they said.

The actor's fℱriend and actress Juhi Chawla visited the actor at the hospital. An of♊ficial statement from the hospital is expected soon, news agency IANS reported. 

Temperatures have been rising throughout the country with the Indian summer season reachi♐ng its peak around this time.

Ahmedꦐabad recorded a maximum temperature of 45.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. It rose to 45.9 deg🔯rees on Wednesday.

KKR on Tuesday entered their fourth IPL final as they defeated SRH in a one-sided encounﷺter.

On a benign wicket in steaming hot conditions, SRH’s fight petered out as KKR knocked off the innocuous 160-run target in a mere 13.4 overs with skipper Shreyas Iyer (58 not out off 24) and Venkatesh Iyer (51 not ou🔯t off 28) taking them over th𒈔e line.
