Fulham's reward for their penalty shoot-out victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup is a home tie against Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the competition. (More Football News)

❀After a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and with the teams failing to be separated in extra-time, spot-kicks decided who would be the penultimate team to advance to the next round.

🐟Bernd Leno proved to be Fulham's hero in the shoot-out, saving penalties from Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee as the Cottagers reached the quarter-finals for the second time in the last three seasons, as many times as they managed between 2004-05 and 2021-22 (two).

🌺Manchester City, meanwhile, face a tough test if they are to make the semi-finals after being handed a trip to in-form Bournemouth in the next round.

🦩Pep Guardiola's side left it late to edge past giant-killing Plymouth Argyle 3-1, with youngster Nico O'Reilly scoring twice before Kevin De Bruyne sealed the win late on Saturday.

♏Aston Villa will face Preston North End, the only Championship side remaining in the competition, in what will be their first meeting since a 1-1 draw in the second tier back in December 2018.

🌃Brighton will face either Nottingham Forest or Ipswich Town in the final eight, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side welcoming the Tractor Boys to the City Ground on Monday.
