18' Some really strong defending by FC Goa. Blue shirts just fill up the box and Kerala Blasters forwards take time trying to get the shot but they can not get past the Goan defenders. Brilliant from the🅺 Gaurs.

25' That one hits the goalpost. Iker Guarrotxena from FC Goa shoots that one off a fr🐠ee kick. It takes a defender's deflection and just misses the goal to slam into the post. A chance missed.

36' Just a little too high. A loopy shot from outside the box from Carl McHugh of FC Goa but it falls on the upper part of the netting. Goa ꩵcoach Manolo Marquez is not happy it seems that McHugh took the shot instead of relyi💛ng on some passes and getting close.

40' FC Goa take lead!!! Boris Singh with the goal. He is at the right side of the box. Right at t🍰he edge of the box and it is a difficult angle to score but he anyways takes the shot and fortunately for Goa Sachin Suresh in the Kerala Blasters goal makes a mistake. Suresh's poor collection means that the ball just sneaks into the near post and Boris gets himself on the scoresheet.

Half-time whistle sounded! And at half-time it is Kerala Blasters 0 and FC Goa 1. Boris Singh's first goal of the season ha♎s put the Gaurs ahead and Kerala Blasters have been really poor with their passes while Goa have defended very well in thဣe first 45 minutes. We will be back after break.

47' Big block from Sachin Suresh. Dezan Drazic had beaten Pritam Kotal and was w𝔍ith Suresh just outside the six-yard box in a one-on-one situation. Suresh closes in on Drazic and the FC Goa forward does not have the space to take the shot and smashes his shot straight into Suresh.

61' Kerala Blasters are building some momentum now. They are continously ma💯king attacks now but FC Goa have done really really well tonight in the defence. The crowd is ecstatic in Kochi and we are moving towa𓄧rds a solid match-up.

66' Blocked again. Sachin Suresh is having to do hard work in the Kerala Blasters tonight and he has made another crucial block. A brilliant run from Drazic who cuts in from the left flank to the centre of the box and pushes the ball to Briso🍒n Fernandes whose shot isꦺ straight at the goalkeeper and thus blocked.

82' Another golden opportunity wasted by Kerala Blasters. They get a free kick from the centre right outside the box. It was💧 always going to be a dangerous position and Adrian𒆙 Luna took a good shot. The only probem was that it was straight and the FC Goa goalkeeper Hrithik Tiwari jumps at the right time to finger the ball above the goalpost.

90' FC Goa defence is putting up a special display tonight. First Borish Singh and then Sand♒esh Jhingan make two brilliant blocks within seconds of each other to ensure the clean sheet of the visitors remains intact. And Kerala Blasters continue to be frustrated.

90+7' What a miss! Massive massive miss from Sandeep that. On the righ💧t side in the box, unmarked with no defender around him. He has all the space that he would need and only has to beat the goalkeeper but he shoots totally off-target. This was his moment of glory and he had totally fluffed it☂ with his right foot.

The game is over ♏and FC Goa will be super proud of their performance tonight. They have come to Kochi and showed all the resilience in the world to beat the home side. Boris Singh, of course, is the hero of the match with not just his goal but also his brilliant performance in the defence of his side.

It was a good encounter to open the 10th matchweek of the Indian Super League. Kerala Blasters and FC Goa really pushed each other hard but in the end Boris Singh's strike in the 40th minute remained the difference. Kerala B🤡lasters tried hard but Boris, Sandesh and the entire Goan defence was totally up to the task and ensured Kerala would not ever disturb their clean sheet. Top defensive performance from Goa.

FC Goa's win is also their third on the trot this season after they defeated Bengaluru FC and Punjab FC in their last two matches. The win, their fourth of the season, takes the Gaꦡurs to the fifth place in the standings, level at points with the third and fourth placed NorthEast United and Punjab FC.
