NBA 2024-25: Anthony Edwards Stars In Minnesota Timberwolves' Win Over New York Knicks

Anthony Edwards put on a spectacular performance on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 116-94 victory over the New York Knicks. Edwards scored 36 points, with a standout moment coming in the fourth quarter when he delivered a two-handed dunk over a defender. He shot 12-for-21 from the field and 8-for-13 from three-point range, also contributing 13 rebounds and seven assists. This win marked Edwards' fourth consecutive game with at least 25 points, following his impressive 41-point game against the Washington Wizards earlier in the week. He is one of only four players averaging at least 30 points per game in January. Missing from the Knicks was Donte DiVincenzo, who was sidelined with a toe injury, and they also missed Karl-Anthony Towns due to a thumb injury. The game was briefly interrupted when Josh Hart left for the locker room but he later returned to continue playing.
