NBA Cup 2024: New York Knicks Beat Orlando Magic To Enter Quarter-Finals

𒐪Karl-Anthony Towns scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, while Jalen Brunson added 21 points, leading the New York Knicks to a 121-106 win over the Orlando Magic. With this victory, the Knicks advanced to the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup, finishing East Group A with a 4-0 record, and will host the Atlanta Hawks on December 11. Mikal Bridges contributed 19 points, and Josh Hart had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won three straight and eight of their last ten games. Franz Wagner led the Magic with 30 points, and Moritz Wagner added 20 off the bench. Despite the loss that snapped their six-game winning streak, Orlando advanced as the wild card from the East, needing only to avoid a loss by more than 37 points. New York led 36-26 at the end of the first quarter and went into halftime with a 71-51 advantage. Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are the other seven teams in the quarterfinals which are starting on 11 December.
