The world number one, who is due to begin his Australian Open title defence against Nicolas Jarry on Monday, twice tested positive for the banned substance clostebol durin💦g last season's Indian Wells Masters in March.
Sinner was s♒ubsequently cleared of any wrongdoing by an independent tribunal, successfully arguing he had been inadvertently contaminated with the substance - a steroid used to build muscle mass - by his physiotherapist.
The International Tennis Integrity Agency (IꦦTIA) accepted there was "no fault or negligence" on his behalf.
However, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has appealed against th🃏at verdict, arguing the ruling was "not correct under the applicable rules".
WADA 📖is requesting a ban of "between one and two years" for the 23-year-old, whose case will be heard from April 16-17.
In a short statement, CAS said: "No parties reque𝔉sted a public hearing, and it will be conductജed behind closed doors."
