UK Woman Raped, Molested in Delhi; Two Arrested

A British woman💦 was allegedly raped by her Social Media friend at a hotel in Delhi. However, she was molested by another person in the hotel lift later.

The incident happened in southwest Delhi's Mahipalpur area. According to police, the victim said she met the man on Instagram, and she decided to visit Delhi to meet him in person🍷 while she was on vacation🎀 in Maharashtra and Goa.

The woman had come into contact with the accused in February this year through social media platform Instagram. She arrived ♉in India on March 7 and visited Goa before traveling to Delhi on March 11.

After arriving in India, she booked a hotel room ඣin Mahipalpur, near the Indira Gandhi International Airport. On Tuesday, the accused visited her, leading to a heated argument when she sensed he was acting inappropriately.

The woman alleged that she was raped by the accused an❀d after raising an alarm, reached the hotel ♏reception. However, another man, pretending to help, allegedly molested her in the hotel lift.

Both accused have been arrest🐲ed by Delhi police on rape and molestation charges, and the British High Commission has been notified 🌄of the incident as well.
