😼French police closed traffic to and from the Paris Gare du Nord train station after a bomb from the World War II era was found on the tracks.
﷽As per AFP, the bomb was found "in the middle of the tracks" during overnight works at the station.
𒆙After the bomb was reported, all trains, including the Eurostar were halted to disable to bomb.
🐼As per AP, France's national train operator SNCF said in a statement that traffic would be stopped at the Gare du Nord until mid-morning at the request of police.
ℱ“We invite travellers to postpone their trip,” it said.
As per SNCF statistics, around 700,000 passengers pass through the Paris 😼Gare du Nord terminal in Northern France. The Gare du Nord station serves as a major European transit hub for international destinations north of France, main Paris airport and many regional commuters.
