After a gap of few months since last year's December, Air India witnessed♏ another similar incident ౠof passenger's misconduct as a male passenger was held on Monday for allegedly defecating and urinating on the floor of a Mumbai-Delhi flight mid-air, police said on Monday.
According to the officials, the incident t♚ook place onboard flight A🅰IC 866 on June 24.
What did the FIR say?
According to the FIR, a passenger who was identified as Ram Singh, on seat numb🌃er 17F, defecated♌, urinated, and spat in row 9 of the aircraft.
The FIR also said that the cabin crew gave him a verbal warning to the passenger upon observing the miscoꦅnduct and he was also secluded from the others.
The pilot-in-command was also informe🎀d of the situation.
Seeking security on arrival to escort the passenger, a message was sent to the company i🌳mmediately, the FIR later added.
On arriva💙l, the head of Air In🐟dia security attended and escorted the passenger to the local police station, it said.
A case under sections 294 (🐼obscene acts) and 510 (misconduct in public by 🍰a drunken person) of the Indian Penal Code was registered, it added.
Air India's previous incidents
Last year, on November 26 a man, who was in an inebriated conditio🐻n, allegedly urinated on a woman co-passenger onboard an Air India New York- Delhi flight.
Within 10 days of this inciden🐲t, another similar episode of a "drunk" male passenger allegedly "urinating" on a blanket of a female passenger was reported on a Paris-New Delhi Air India flight on December 6.
