Mumbai on Tuesday reported 56 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 11,63,352, while no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the c𓄧ity, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
A BMC bulletin said thꦇe death toll remained unchange💫d at 19,768.
On Monday, the city had logged 28 cases and𓃲 a single fatality.
As per the bulletin, 1,515 co🤡ronavirus tests were conducted in the city in the last 24 hours, taking their cumulative total to 1,88,56,15♚7.
According to the BMC, the number of recoveries reached 11,43,155 after 47 more patients recܫuperated from the respiratory illness.
꧂Mumbai's coronavirus recovery 🍷rate stood at 98.3 per cent, while the growth rate of cases between May 2 and May 8 was 0.0054 per cent, it said.
The 🃏case doubling ra𒁃te was 14,089 days, said the bulletin.
