Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan🤪 was stabbed at least six times by an unidentified attacker in the early hours of Thursday. Mumbai Police have confirmed that the attack took place due to an attempted burglary.
ꦆThe actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital and had to undergo surgery due to his injuries. Police officials stated that the actor had two deep cuts, with one close to the spinal cord.

𒈔As per the latest update, the actor has been shifted to the ICU. Khan underwent two surgeries to treat the injuries. Doctors at Lilavati Hospital has stated that the condition of the actor is stable after surgery.
𝓡Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital after the attack. Police officials say he was stabbed by the burglar during a scuffle between the two. Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan reportedly rushed his father to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw.
𒐪The actor underwent neurosurgery and plastic surgery for his wounds. Dr Nitin Dange, the consultant neurosurgeon who performed the surgery on Khan, told news agency ANI that the surgery was done to remove a 2.5-inch-long knife from the actor's spine and repair his ‘leaking spinal fluid’.
ꦐMumbai Police have launched an investigation into the incident. As per officials, the attacker, who was not spotted on CCTV cameras, entered the house through the fire escape staircase.
𓃲"In the investigation so far, we have identified a person who went at Saif Ali Khan's house in Bandra (west) with the intention of burglary. The suspect used the staircase of the building ‘Satguru Sharan’ where the actor lives along with his family, to go upstairs," Dixit Gedam, DCP, Mumbai Police, told the reporters.
🌳Reports further add that a female staff member also sustained injuries while trying to fight off the attacker. The domestic help is now being questioned at the Bandra Police Station.
