The Paraguayan starred for the Five Stripes before joining Newcastle for £21million in January 2019 – then a club-record fee for the Magpies and the largest received ༺by an MLS club.
He went on to make 186 Premier League appearances in six eventf🦂ul years on Tyneside, scoring 23 goals in the competition and assisting eight.
Overall, h♏e pla💛yed 223 games for the Magpies, playing a prominent role in their successful bid for Champions League qualification in the 2022-23 season.
However, he had been limited to just nine league appearances i🎉n 2024-25, and he has now penned🅘 a contract to run through 2027 in Georgia, with an option to extend that stay for a further year.
Atlanta have reportedly paid a fee of around £8m ($9.9m) for Almiron, wꦬho has b♓een hailed for his professionalism by Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.
