Pushpa 2: The Rule starring꧒ Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna has been𝓰 on a rampage both in India and overseas. The Sukumar directorial completed 18 days of its release on Sunday, December 22. It has crossed Rs 1000 crore mark in the domestic market and is inching closer to Rs 1600 crore mark worldwide.
Pushpa 2 is now aiming to surpass the global lifetime collections of Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan's Dangal. Interesingly, it has already crossed the lifetime Hindi collections of Baahubali 2.
On its third Sunday, Pushpa 2 colဣlected Rs 33.25 crore nett in India. The Hindi version raked in Rs 26.♒75 crore nett while the Telugu version earned Rs 5.7 crore nett at the domestic box office.
Pushpa 2 broke the domestic record held by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which collected Rs 1030.42 crore in 2017. In 18 days, the action thriller raked in Rs 1062.9 crore nett in India, as per industry tracker Sacnilkജ. The Hindi dubbed version earned Rs 679.65 crore nett, and the Telugu version collected Rs 307.8 crore.
Talking about the worldwide box office collection of Pushpa 2, on Day 18, it earned Rs 46.71 crore𒆙. So, the total global collection now stand🍸s at Rs 1587.13.
Let's wait and watch if Pushpa 2 manages to breach Dangal (Rs 2070 crore) and Baahubali 2's (Rs 1790 crore) lifetime collections or not꧙.
This week Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi is releasing in theatres. So, in that case, Pushpa 2 will face a major competition with the former.
