A British woman 🧸was allegedly raped by her Social M﷽edia friend at a hotel in Delhi. However, she was molested by another person in the hotel lift later.
The incident happened in southw♌est Delhi's Mahipalpur area. According to police, the victim said she met the man on Instagram, and she decided to visit Delhi to meet him in person while she was on vacation in Maharashtra and Goa.
The woman had c𓃲ome into contact with the accused in February this y🐈ear through social media platform Instagram. She arrived in India on March 7 and visited Goa before traveling to Delhi on March 11.
After arriving in India, she booked 💦a hotel room in Mahipalpur, near the Indira Gandhi International Airport. On Tuesday, the accused visited her, leading to a heated argument when she sensed he was acting 🉐inappropriately.
The woman alleged that🃏 she was raped by the accused and after raising an alarm, reached the hotel reception. However, another man, pretending to help, allegedly molested her in the hotel lift.
Both accused have been arrested by Delhi police o🤪n rape and molestatio꧂n charges, and the British High Commission has been notified of the incident as well.
