Only 5.1 overs were possible in the game, during which Thunder scored 36 runs fo✃r the l𒀰oss of young Sam Konstas' wicket. The inclement weather later blew off a part of SCG's roofing and did not allow any further action.
The washout also meant that Hobart Hurricanes finished on top꧋ of the BBL points table and Sydney Sixers finished second, and the two teams will lock horns in the Qualifier. Sydney Thunder will now host the knockout finals, with the fou🎃rth team yet to be decided.
