In preparation for the Republic Day parade rehearsal on January 10, the Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for residents, cautioning them about routes꧟ to avoid in the national capital.
The advisory▨ indicates that traffic will be disrupted on various routes, particularly i🅠n central Delhi, from 7 am to 11:30 am on January 10.
During this period, citizens are advised to steer clear of Vijay Chowk, Rafi Marg-Kartavyapath crossing, Janpath-Kartavyapath crossing, and Man Sin🅷gh Road-Karta🐭vyapath.
"Due to Republic Day Parade rehearsal, kindly avoid Vijay Chowk, Rafi Marg-Kartavyapath crossing, Janpath-Kartavyapath crossing, and Man Singh Road-Kartavyapath crossing from 0700 Hrs to 1130 Hrs on 10-01-2024," stated the Delhi Police iﷺn their advisory.
Meanwhile, traffic was also hit on Ring Road in the carriageway from Moti Bagh towards Safdarjung due to the breakdown of a hydraulic crane on the ꦯRajnagar flyover, said PTI.
Notably, F🦩rench President Emmanuel Macron will be the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day Parade on January 26 this year, marking the sixth time a French leader has been invited to preside over the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi.
