West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee suffered injuries on Tuesday as her hel꧟icopter made emerg♒ency landing near Siliguri in West Bengal.

Officials said that Mamata suffered injuries on her waist and legs when the helicopter she was flying in made🥂 an emergency la♔nding at the Sevoke air base near Siliguri due to bad weather, reported PTI.

The PTI reported that Mamata was injured when she tried to deboard the helicopter at the air base. However, she later returned to Kolkata ඣby a flight from Bagdogra airport.

Offici🐟als told PTI that Mamata, soon after reaching Kolkata, was taken to th𒀰e SSKM Hospital where an MRI was conducted on her.

"The injuries do not appear to be serious. We are waiting for the MRI report," a doctor told PTI, adding that several specialist docto🌳rs examined her✨.

The decision on whether Mamata will req🦂uire hospitalisat𓄧ion will be taken after seeing the reports, the official told PTI.

Earli𝄹er, the pilot decided to make an emergency landing after the helicopter started "shaking terribly" when it ran into bad weather on t🦂he way to Bagdogra airport, according to PTI.

Mamata was returning to Kolkata after a two-day trip to northern districts of the state to campaign foꦐr the panchayat electionsꦦ scheduled on July 8.

Sources told PTI that Governor CV Ananda Bose telephoned Mamatꦰ𓂃a and enquired about her health condition.
