The Belgian Grand Prix has agreed a rotational deal to maintain its place on the Formula One calendar for four of six years between 2026 and 2031. (More Motorsport News)

The unprecedented contract will sꦅee the Spa-Francorchamps circuit host races in 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031, though it will be replaced by an alternative race in 2028 and 2030.

It comes as F1 looks to accommodate new events in an already pack🎀ed schedule, with 24 races once again set for the 2025 season, which begin in Australia in March.

"The Belgian Grand Prix was one of the races that꧒ made up our maiden championship in 1950," F1 president Stefano Domenicali said. 

"So, as♕ we kick off our 75th anniversary year, it is fitting that we can share the n൲ews of this important extension.

"Spa-Francorchamps is rightly lauded by drivers and fans alike as one of ܫthe finest race tracks in the world, and it has played host to some incredible moments over its many seasons in Fo🃏rmula One."
