With just days to go for the Delhi assembly elections, the national capital remains embroiled in a tight three🐠-way race between the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bharatiya Janta Party and the Congress.

As the BJP and AAP intensify their campaign, their allies have joined the race to rally for the respective parties. However, amid this support from allies, the Congress finds its♛elf fighting alone.

As the voting day gets closer, BJP and AAP allies from across the country have found themselves in Delhi. Recently, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telegu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu was spotted rallyiꦫng for the BJP and Trinamool National Congress’ Shatrughan Sinha campaigned was seen campaigning for AAP.

However, no such support has been seen for the Indian National Congress in Delhi. This shift was also seen after several INDIA bloc allies announced their support for Arvind Kejriwal and the incumbent AAP.

INDIA Bloc Backs AAP

AAP and Congress, which made an alliance for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, decided to go separate w𓆉ays for the assembly elections. Soon after, INDIA bloc allies such as Samajwadi Party and TMC announced their support for AAP's return to the nati𓄧onal capital.

Coincidentally or not, this support for AAP also came amid the rift regarding the INDIA bloc's leadership, with many allies expres🐲sing their dissatisfaction with Rahul Gandhi as the leader.

Other INDIA allies such as the Rashtriya Janata D꧂al and the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction have also expressed their support f🌃or AAP and Kejriwal, highlighting a major rift in the opposition bloc.

NDA Stays United

On the other hand, the NDA alliance is coming in together strong for the final stretch. In a meeting last week, headed by BJP President JP Nadda, the alliance member𒀰s came together to ensure maximise voter engagement for the Delhi assembly elections.

Along with TDP's Naidu, Jana Sena’s Pawan Kalyan, leaders from Lok Janshakti Party such as Chirag Paswan, and Shiv Sena (SS) leader and former Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, are also expected to canvass for the Delhi elections, which reflects the 🔯unity within the NDA alliance.
