⛎As the Russia- Ukraine war escalates, the Kremlin has accused Kyiv of targeting residential buildings in its largest-ever drone attack launched on Moscow.
💙On Tuesday, Ukraine launched its largest drone attack on Moscow. As per reports, at least two workers have been killed, and 18 others have been injured.
𒊎The attack also caused a short shutdown at Moscow's four airports.
♍"All (defensive) measures and actions were carried out in advance, in good time. And this allows for the protection of Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as many other regions," stated Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
💝Peskov further added that visiting Objective Structured Clinical Examination Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu will be shown the images of the damage done by the attack.
🦹"It's important that he was shown the aftermath of the attack. But more importantly, what the Kyiv regime is hitting - residential buildings," he added.
𝔍As per the Russian Defence Ministry, around 343 drones were downed, of which 91 targeted the Moscow region. Furthermore, officials added that six Ukrainian drones were intercepted near the nuclear power plant in Kursk.
ꩵUkraine has not yet confirmed the attack. However, if confirmed, it would represent one of the largest attacks on Russia since the war broke out in 2022.
