𝔉Amidst the controversy over Halal-certified meat, the Maharashtra government has launched the Malhar certificate, a registration initiative for Jhatka meat shops.

𒅌Rane said it will "help Hindus identify mutton shops owned by people from the community."

🍌"A new concept has been launched for jhatka mutton in the form of Malhar certification for the Hindu community of Maharashtra. This will help Hindus identify mutton shops owned by Hindus, who will sell unadulterated meat. The initiative will empower Hindu traders, and I urge Hindus to refrain from buying mutton from shops that do not carry the Malhar certification," said Rane.

What Is Malhar Certification?

💝According to the website, launched by Rane, malharcertification.com is a certified platform for jhatka mutton and chicken vendors. It ensures that goat and sheep meat is sacrificed according to Hindu religious traditions.

ꦑThis website also states that only Hindu Khatik community vendors are authorised to sell meat under the guidelines.

Nitish Rane's Appeal

ꦕLaunching the initiative, Rane urged Hindus to buy meat only from Malhar-certified shops.

๊He said, "This Malhar certification should be used more and more, and Hindus should not buy mutton from shops without Malhar certification. This is what appeals to people. Jai Shri Ram."

🐈This certification is a step to regulate the meat market, keeping in mind Hindu dietary customs.

Religious And Financial Consequences

✅The initiative has sparked significant discussion. It is worth noting that the Malhar certification has been launched amid a controversy over Halal certification, with some right-wing groups in India accusing Halal-certified businesses of promoting economic jihad.

꧑However, supporters of Malhar certification argue that it is a necessary step to promote Hindu-owned businesses and provide options to customers.
