✅BJP leader and candidate from the Kalkaji constituency, Ramesh Bidhuri, has once again racked up the controversy about his opponent , AAP's candidate Aatish Marlena's parents.

♕In a fresh attack, BJP leader Bidhuri claimed that her (Atishi's) parents backed slain terrorist Afzal Guru, reported India Today.

⛄"Atishi's parents were writing letters so that Afzal Guru was not hanged. Atishi's mother organised a condolence meeting for Afzal Guru," Bidhuri said, as quoted by India Today.

🃏The allegations come almost two weeks before the Delhi Assembly polls scheduled to be held on February 5. The results for the polls will be announced on February 8.

🦂Bidhuri claimed that the Chief Minister's parents had an "anti-India mentality" and accused them of protecting the perpetrators of the Parliament attack.

🌠It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the BJP leader has launched an attack on Atishi, who has been pitted against him from the Kalkaji constituency.

Bidhuri's Earlier Remarks

🌸BJP candidate from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri found himself in yet another controversy on 8 January when he reportedly compared Delhi CM Atishi with a 'deer' while talking about poor conditions on the roads in the national capital.

💜Bidhuri was addressing a rally in Delhi when he claimed that AAP leader Atishi did not meet the people of the city while the party was in power, "but now, ahead of the elections, she was roaming around like a 'deer' to meet the voters'', as per the reports.

🔥Bidhuri had earlier also claimed that the CM "changed her surname from Marlena to Singh."

🥂Earlier, in a video shared on AAP and Kejriwal's social media handles, Bidhuri said, "This Marlena (surname used earlier by Atishi) became Singh, changed name. Kejriwal swore over his children not to go with the corrupt Congress; Marlena changed fathers. Earlier she was Marlena; now she has become Singh. This is their character."

Whether it's Atishi Marlena or Priyanka Gandhi ♛Vadra, Ramesh Bidhuri has made other sexist comments before, which have been the subject of discussion.

In a speech at Kalkaji on 4 January, the BJP ♓leader was heard saying, "Lalu had said that he will develop roads in Bihar as smooth as Hema Malini’s cheeks. Lalu had lied. But I assure you, just as we made the roads in Okhla and Sangam Vihar, we will make all the roads in Kalkaji, Sudhar Camp, and inner and outer roads like Priyanka Gandhi’s cheeks."

💧However, the Bharatiya Janata Party has maintained distance from these statements of Bidhuri. Party has not given any official statement till now.

Atishi Breaks Down

♒Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on 6 January broke down while addressing a press conference on Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ramesh Bidhuri's alleged derogatory remark at her.

🍰“I want to tell Ramesh Bidhuri, my father was a teacher throughout his life; he has taught thousands of children coming from poor and lower-middle-class families; now he is 80 years old,” said Atishi as she broke down during the presser.

Complaint Against BJP Leader

As Bidhuri continues to face flak over his sexist remarks, the Congress 🅰party has lodged a formal police complaint against the senior BJP leader.

⛦As reported by PTI earlier, a group of female Congress workers filed a complaint against the BJP leader in Lucknow and demanded that an FIR be filed against Bidhuri for his remarks against Priyanka Gandhi.

🐽"I request that an FIR be registered against Ramesh Bidhuri for using offensive language towards a respected woman and tarnishing her image," wrote Congress leader Mamta Chaudhary, representing Malviya Nagar Ward 21 in Lucknow, in her formal complaint.

🤪Bidhuri received backlash from both the Congress party and the Aam Aadmi Party for his comments against the leaders.
