♌Uttar Pradesh's Maha Kumbh mela has gained global prominence as celebrities and A-listers from all over the world flock down to India to experience the world's biggest spiritual event.
🧸Mahakumbh 2025 kicked off in UP's Prayagraj on January 13. The Maha Kumbh Meka is held after every 12 years and this year's mela is being held in Prayagraj after 144 years.
🔥For the 2025 mela, personalities from all over the globe are expected to attend, with some already spotted in Prayagraj.
🌟Apple founder Steve Jobs' wife Laurene Powell Jobs was spotted at the ashram of her guru, Swami Kailashnand Giri, the Acharya Mahamandleshwar of Niranjini Akhara.
🍒The American businesswoman is being accompanied by her 40-member team for the Maha Kumbh mela. Hollywood stars such as Richard Gere, David Lynch and Tibetian leader Dalai Lama have also attended past Maha Kumbhs.
🎃Big names from the Bollywood industry such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ravi Kishan are also expected to attend the spiritual festival.
♛Renowned devotional singer Anup Jalota is also expected to be present in Prayagraj and perform. Along with Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Hariharan, Mohit Chauhan, Shaan, Hans Raj Hans, and Maithili Thakur are also slated to take the stage at the Maha Kumbh Mela to perform at the Ganga Pandal.
