India Erupt In Sea Of Blue As ICC Champions Trophy Comes Home After 12 Years!

"India! India!" echoed through the streets of entire India on Sunday night, March 9, 2025 as fans erupted in joy, celebrating the 12-year-long-awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The jubilant scenes unfolded after Rohit Sharma and his men clinched a thrilling four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final in Dubai. Bowling first, India restricted the Kiwis to 251/7, with Kuldeep Yadav (2/40) and Varun Chakravarthy (2/45) playing crucial roles. In the chase, Rohit led from the front with a superb 76 off 83 balls, while Shreyas Iyer’s 48 and KL Rahul’s composed 34* ensured India got over the line with six balls to spare. The victory marked India’s third Champions Trophy title after wins in 2002 and 2013.
